1. The processing step of tube mill roller :

blanking → rough turning → rough arc machining → semi-finish turning → quenching treatment → tempering treatment → cold treatment → finishing → mirror finish processing → demagnetization treatment → packing

The heat treatment of tube mill roller includes he quenching treatment,tempering treatment and cold treatment are the key and important step for the tube mill roller ,meanwhile , it is a step where The cost-saving steps taken by dishonest suppliers by exploiting loopholes.

2.The corrected heat treatment step as below

NO.1:Quenching treatment: The temperature reaches 900–1000°C. Quenching is performed in a vacuum furnace,with a quenching time of no less than 16 hours.

NO.2 :Tempering treatment: The tempering temperature reaches 200°C, followed by natural cooling. The roll requires 3 tempering cycles, with a total tempering time of 24 hours.

NO.3 treatment of the roll: The roll requires 8 hours of cold nitrogen treatment + 1 hour of nitrogen absorption,Total: 9 hours.

After the cold nitrogen treatment, the roll is tempered again for more than 10 hours.

Conclusion :The entire heat treatment process takes 4 days. If the heat treatment time for the roll is insufficient, the hardness of the roll will remain the same, but the wear resistance of the roll will differ.
